The Award-Winning, Iranian, Sound Mixer, Sam Kashefi began working in the film industry at 17. Sam rose quickly in Iran, and mixed 8 feature films by the age of 25.
Looking to expand his reach and scope of work, he relocated to Dubai in 2003 where he mixed for major international productions.
In 2010, Discovery Channel shot "Build it Bigger" in Dubai. Sam's technical skill, professional flexibility and personable approach were standouts, and he continued on the run, mixing the series in Turkey, Australia, Kuwait, Azerbaijan and Japan.
Executive Producer, Diane Knox, considers Sam, "one of the key sound mixers of this series" and continues to collaborate with him on projects.
Bourne Legacy's Dubai unit utilized his talent for all of their production sound work in the Middle East.
In 2013, Sam moved to New York City to continue working with networks like NatGeo, HBO, PBS, Amazon, Netflix and documentaries.
